Some time ago a friend introduced me to something wonderful: TedTalks. TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design. It started out (in 1984) as a conference bringing together people from those three worlds. Since then its scope has become ever broader.
The annual conference now brings together the world's most fascinating thinkers and doers, who are challenged to give the talk of their lives (in 18 minutes).
Here are some fantastic speeches that I found either extremely inspiring or scarely eye opening. Hope you too enjoy them. One thing is for sure, they will make you think. Can you handle that?

Have you heard the TED talk by Bill Gates?
Yep, quite good as well, there are so many of them (BTW I am subscribed to them on Youtube and get regular updates)
